Templates

Templates deploy ready-made services with generated passwords, a persistent volume where needed and connection variables. Deploy them from the Templates page in the dashboard, from New project → Template, from a project's Template / Database options, or with a deploy link: https://app.fjordrun.com/deploy?template=<code>.

Every template service has a Login details card with its credentials. Secret values stay hidden until you reveal or copy them. Generated passwords come from ${{secret(32)}}, which is replaced by a random value when the service is created.

PostgreSQL

PostgreSQL 16 (postgres:16-alpine) with a 5 GB volume at /var/lib/postgresql/data.

• Login details: username postgres, generated password, database fjordrun, connection URL.
• Variables: POSTGRES_USER, POSTGRES_PASSWORD, POSTGRES_DB, PGHOST, PGPORT (5432), PGUSER, PGPASSWORD, PGDATABASE, DATABASE_URL.
• Connect: ${{Postgres.DATABASE_URL}} from other services in the project.

MySQL

MySQL 8.4 (mysql:8.4) with a 5 GB volume at /var/lib/mysql.

• Login details: username root, generated password, database fjordrun, connection URL.
• Variables: MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD, MYSQL_DATABASE, MYSQLHOST, MYSQLPORT (3306), MYSQLUSER, MYSQLPASSWORD, MYSQL_URL.
• Connect: ${{MySQL.MYSQL_URL}}.

Redis

Redis 7 (redis:7-alpine) with append-only persistence and password authentication, 1 GB volume at /data.

• Login details: generated password, connection URL.
• Variables: REDIS_PASSWORD, REDISHOST, REDISPORT (6379), REDIS_URL.
• Connect: ${{Redis.REDIS_URL}} (user default).

MongoDB

MongoDB 7 (mongo:7) with a 5 GB volume at /data/db.

• Login details: username mongo, generated password, connection URL.
• Variables: MONGO_INITDB_ROOT_USERNAME, MONGO_INITDB_ROOT_PASSWORD, MONGO_URL.
• Connect: ${{MongoDB.MONGO_URL}}.

MinIO

S3-compatible object storage (minio/minio) with a 10 GB volume at /data.

• Login details: username minio, generated password.
• Variables: MINIO_ROOT_USER, MINIO_ROOT_PASSWORD, S3_ENDPOINT (http://minio.<env>.internal:9000).
• Ports: the S3 API listens on 9000, the web console on 9001. To open the console, add a domain with target port 9001. Other services use ${{MinIO.S3_ENDPOINT}} privately.

Umami

Privacy-friendly web analytics: a PostgreSQL service (2 GB volume) and the Umami app (ghcr.io/umami-software/umami:postgresql-latest, port 3000).

• Login details: Umami always creates the login admin / umami and has no setting to change it at install. Generate a domain, log in and change the password immediately (Settings → Profile).
• Variables: DATABASE_URL=${{Postgres.DATABASE_URL}}, APP_SECRET (generated).

n8n

Workflow automation: a PostgreSQL service (5 GB volume) and n8n (n8nio/n8n, port 5678) using it as its database.

• Login details: n8n has no default login. The first person to open it creates the owner account, so generate a domain and create the owner account straight away.
• Variables: DB_TYPE=postgresdb, DB_POSTGRESDB_HOST, DB_POSTGRESDB_USER, DB_POSTGRESDB_PASSWORD, DB_POSTGRESDB_DATABASE (all referencing the Postgres service), N8N_ENCRYPTION_KEY (generated).

Langflow

Visual builder for LLM agents and RAG pipelines (langflowai/langflow, port 7860) with a 2 GB volume at /app/langflow.

• Login details: username admin and a generated 24-character password. Auto-login is off.
• Variables: LANGFLOW_AUTO_LOGIN=false, LANGFLOW_SECRET_KEY (generated), LANGFLOW_SUPERUSER, LANGFLOW_SUPERUSER_PASSWORD.
• Generate a domain to open it.

Ollama

Runs open-weight models on CPU (ollama/ollama, port 11434) as a worker, with a 20 GB volume at /root/.ollama for models and limits of 4 vCPU and 8 GB memory. Those limits exceed the Trial plan's per-service cap, so it needs Hobby or Pro.

• Login details: API URL (http://ollama.<env>.internal:11434).
• Variables: OLLAMA_HOST=0.0.0.0, OLLAMA_URL.
• Ollama has no authentication. Keep it private (no public domain) and call it from your other services with ${{Ollama.OLLAMA_URL}}.

Qdrant

Vector database for RAG and agent memory (qdrant/qdrant, port 6333) with a 5 GB volume at /qdrant/storage.

• Login details: generated API key, URL.
• Variables: QDRANT__SERVICE__API_KEY, QDRANT_URL (http://qdrant.<env>.internal:6333).
• Connect: ${{Qdrant.QDRANT_URL}} with the API key in the api-key header.
