Usage alerts

Owners and admins of a team get an email when the team's usage in a billing period reaches:

• 80% of the usage included in the plan;
• 100% of the included usage (on Trial, the €2 credit);
• 80% of the team's spending limit, if one is set.

Each alert is sent once per billing period (once per Trial).

Spending limit

A spending limit (shown as Usage limit in the dashboard) caps the team's usage per billing period. Set it in Team settings → Usage & billing (admin role).

When usage reaches the limit, the team is paused: its services are scaled to zero so no more usage accrues. Nothing is deleted. Owners and admins get an email. Raise or remove the limit and the team resumes automatically.

Use a limit to protect against surprises such as a runaway process or a traffic spike. Set it somewhat above your normal monthly usage.

Per-service limits

The vCPU and memory limits in a service's Resources settings cap what one replica can use, and so cap its cost. Usage below the limit is billed as used.
