Every plan bills the same usage-based rates: €12 per vCPU-month and €6 per GB-month of memory, measured on actual use. Pro also includes priority support. The monthly fee of Hobby and Pro is not an extra: it comes back to you as included usage.
Enterprise contracts (dedicated nodes, custom DPA, SLA) are available on request: hello@fjordrun.com.
Trial
New teams start on Trial with €2 of usage credit, once, no card needed. That is enough to try a small app and a database for a while. When the credit runs out, the team's services are paused (scaled to zero) until you upgrade or add prepaid credit. Nothing is deleted.
Hobby and Pro
Upgrade in Team settings → Usage & billing. Payment is handled by Stripe. Usage within the included amount is covered by the fee. Beyond it:
- prepaid credit is used first, if you have any;
- the rest is invoiced as overage at the end of the billing period, at the same rates.
To cap overage, set a spending limit.
Changing or cancelling
Change plans in Usage & billing. Update payment method opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can also update billing details and cancel the subscription. After cancelling, the team keeps working on its prepaid credit, if any.
What happens when usage cannot be paid
A team is paused (services scaled to zero, nothing deleted) when:
- its Trial credit runs out, or a team without a subscription runs out of included usage and credit;
- it reaches its own spending limit;
- a payment fails three times.
It resumes automatically once the reason is gone (credit added, limit raised, payment made). Owners and admins get an email in each case.
