Usage-based pricing

Fjordrun bills the CPU and memory your services actually use, not the size you reserve. A service allowed 1 vCPU that averages 0.05 vCPU pays for 0.05 vCPU.

Rates

All prices in EUR, excluding VAT. A month is 730 hours.

ResourcePriceMeasured
vCPU€12 per vCPU-monthCPU time actually used
Memory€6 per GB-monthAverage working set actually used
Volumes€0.10 per GB-monthProvisioned size, hourly
EgressFirst 100 GB per team and billing period free, then €0.02 per GBTraffic out through public domains

Usage is measured every minute and billed per second, minute or hour, depending on the service's billing granularity (defaults: web services and workers per minute, databases per hour, cron jobs per second). The rate is the same; granularity only sets how usage is grouped.

Builds, private network traffic and inbound traffic are not billed. A sleeping service uses nothing.

Examples

These are estimates for a 730-hour month. Real usage depends on your app; the Metrics tab shows yours.

Example: a small web app

A Node.js API that averages 0.05 vCPU and 150 MB of memory:

CPU: 0.05 vCPU × €12€0.60
Memory: 0.15 GB × €6€0.90
Total€1.50 / month

Fully covered by the €5 included in Hobby.

Example: an app with PostgreSQL

The app above plus a PostgreSQL database averaging 0.02 vCPU and 200 MB, with a 5 GB volume:

App€1.50
Postgres CPU: 0.02 × €12€0.24
Postgres memory: 0.2 GB × €6€1.20
Volume: 5 GB × €0.10€0.50
Total€3.44 / month

Still within Hobby's included €5.

Example: a busy service

A service that constantly uses 0.5 vCPU and 512 MB (0.5 GB):

CPU: 0.5 × €12€6.00
Memory: 0.5 GB × €6€3.00
Total€9.00 / month

On Hobby that is €5 included plus €4.00 of overage (or credit). On Pro it is within the included €20.

Example: a side project that sleeps

A web app with Sleep when idle, awake about 2 hours a day (60 hours a month) at 0.2 vCPU and 256 MB while awake:

CPU: 0.2 × €12 × 60/730€0.20
Memory: 0.25 GB × €6 × 60/730€0.12
Total€0.32 / month

Agents and workflows

Agent and workflow runtime is billed per second, and Claude tokens used by agents are passed through at the model's rates. The current rates are shown in the dashboard.

Where to see your usage

Team settings → Usage & billing shows usage so far in the billing period (usage breakdown by resource, cost by project, daily cost), the included amount and your prepaid credit. Each service also shows its own cost so far.
